You can't beat this - a fun drive, a private tour and tasting at Keller Estate, a tour of an exclusive private car collection, and lunch with fellow p-car fans. (Get the event flyer here for full details and RSVP information - registration deadline is Feb 8th.) There is a fee of $66 but that covers the tasting, a bottle of wine, and lunch. This event is going to be very popular, so be sure to sign up early and reserve your place! Every year the vineyards and wineries around the Livermore Valley celebrate the holidays by opening their tasting rooms, hosting craftsmen and artists, and inviting carollers and visits from Santa. This year Linda and Pat Schmidt will lead a tour on December 3rd - get the full flyer here. The tour will depart after breakfast at the Buttercup Pantry in Walnut Creek at 9:30AM, travel by backroads to stops at Kassabian Motors and the Arlen Ness Museum in Dublin, and continue afterwards to Elliston Vineyards. After arriving at Elliston, folks are on their own to enjoy the events there and at nearby venues. There is no fee for this tour, but note that various sites may impose their own fees.

After breakfast at Vic's in Pleasanton, enjoy the windmills and scenery of the area around the Altamont and Patterson Passes! Flyer with full details can be downloaded here. Mid-morning stop will feature refreshments and a technical Q&A at Porsche of Livermore, followed by a drive through the Tri-Valley's canyons on the way to Casa Orozco in Dublin.

This tour will depart following the Walnut Creek breakfast for the heart of wine country and a tour and wine tasting at the fabulous Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga!
