Walt would want to wish all of you a Happy New Year, but would have found a clever way to work in something about cars in the greeting. Maybe “idling through New Year’s Eve and then shifting into sixth gear, feeling the rush into 2011.”

Walt and Jacquie were supposed to be in Egypt by now, but Mother Nature had other plans and trapped them in California via snow storms on the east coast.

So here’s hoping you make a New Year’s resolution to get more involved with Diablo Region events and hit the track, take a tour and try a Saturday breakfast. You just might meet some of the nicest and most loyal Porsche people around.

Even though the calendar is published on page 3, it will be finalized during the January Board meeting. So, be alert to any changes that might be announced in blasts. Kathy Soler (Calendar Chair) will be sure the calendar on the web site is current.
